Introduction Kate Winslet stars as a 1920's tiger tamer for the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus in a film based on a fictionalized biography of Mabel Stark's life. "Mabel survived a dozen maulings and five husbands, she was brazen, brave, and obsessively driven - she has the story that leading ladies were invented for," said Winslet. Based on Robert Hough's book, to be adapted by Francesca Marciano who wrote the Oscar nominated "La Bestia Nel Cuore". The film follows the true story of 1920's circus superstar Mabel Stark, who became the greatest ever female tiger trainer. Status In development at Neal Street Productions.

Kate Winslet, the "Titanic" star, has attended twice. The first time she wore a red wig while her current co-star, Jim Carrey, wearing a beanie, did a scene with her to represent the annual Elephant Walk through the Queens Midtown Tunnel.
