It's 'Love Actually' for Liam and Linney

Laura LinneyHOLLYWOOD (Zap2it.com) - Laura Linney and Liam Neeson, who recently starred together in the Broadway production of Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible," have both signed on for Richard Curtis’ “Love Actually.”

The film, which centers on 10 intertwining love stories that are set in London, England already includes Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson and British television sensation Martine McCutcheon. Casting on the other five leads has yet to be completed.

Curtis, who penned the screenplays to “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and “Mr. Bean," will be making his directorial debut with “Love Actually.”

Linney most recently appeared in “The Mothman Prophecies” opposite Richard Gere, and will be starring next in Alan Parker’s “The Life of David Gale” with Kevin Spacey and Kate Winslet.

Neeson is currently starring in “K-19: The Widowmaker” with Harrison Ford, and will be appearing next in Martin Scorsese’s “Gangs of New York” opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. He’ll soon begin production on “The Exorcist 4:1” with Gabriel Mann.

Shooting on “Love Actually” is set to begin in early September.
