| Kate and Sam met after she split with Jim, end of 2001. They met when Sam was casting for the plays Uncle Vanya and Twelfth Night. Kate and Sam got married in a secret ceremony in May 2003 in the West Indies and Kate gave birth to little Joe Alfie Winslet-Mendes on December 22, 2003. |

| Kate met Jim on the set of her movie “Hideous Kinky” where he was third assistant director. They got married on November 21, 1998 in Reading´s All Saints Church. Their daughter Mia Honey Threapleton was born on October 12, 2000. Kate and Jim split in November of 2001 after 3 years of marriage. |

| Kate and Rufus enjoyed a short relationship during the shooting of “Hamlet” and afterwards. It is rumoured that their relationship was only a matter of weeks long and that they still are friends, as Kate was invited to his wedding in 1998. |

| Kate and Stephen met on the set of the british TV show “Dark Season”. She was 16, he was 27. Kate moved in with Stephen shortly after and they dated for 5 years. They remained close friends until Stephen died of bone cancer in December 1997. It was for Stephen’s funeral that she missed one of the Titanic premieres. |
