Synopsis: An idealistic southern politician, “Boss” Willie Stark (Sean Penn), loosely based on Governor Huey Long of Louisiana, appeals to the common man whilst effectively playing dirty politics, slowly becomes corrupted by the system. Jude Law, James Gandolfini, Anthony Hopkins, Mark Ruffalo, and Patricia Clarkson co-star.
