We all dream of being able to sit and chat with Kate Winslet, as so many interviewers can, but alas that dream is a far-fetched one for most of us. Ask Bonnie is here to give you a chance to ask your questions and to have someone find the answers for you. Ask Bonnie was started in March of 1999 as a part of Winslet Whispers' unique items. The idea was come up with by lady_z, who is the site owner of Discover Kate. Ask Bonnie was moved to DK when it was formed as a part of DK's fan specialties. Ask Bonnie's intent is to give fans the information that they want and to let them tell what it is they want. I, Bonnie, came to work for WW in March and loved the offer to move to DK. We provide a questions index, for you to see answers to all of the questions asked in text form, seasonal bulletins, with news and stories about questions that you have asked, and of course a chance to ask your questions to me.

If you'd like to ask me a question there are a few things that I request. Read the FAQ and the Questions Index first, if your question has already been asked, but not yet answered, then an answer is on the way. Ask yourself if it is a reasonable question that can be answered? Be aware that I only write a column and I am not able to write everyone personally, sorry. Be fun with your question and ask things that you know others would like to hear about! Feel free to ask as many questions in a letter as you'd like to have answered. Understand that some questions may take longer to answer than others and be patient.

The Bulletins

The Bulletins were started by myself in July of 1999, because of a suggestion by the afore mentioned lady_z. She thought that it might be fun for me to broaden the question asking column to something more substantial for the Kate fans. I have taken that thought and incorporated it by creating a bulletin with four main pages for you to enjoy. The first page serves as a place to put recent "headlines", then the "Ask Bonnie" section is a place for me to formally answer the questions that have been posed in a published form, then the "Items of Interest" section is there to inform you of hapennings on the Internet and in the world that are important to all of you "Katers", and finally the "Entertainment" page is for you to have a little of fun and enjoyment. We place a non-Kate film review inside, maybe a game, a comic strip, a fan drawing, or a fan poem. Anything to help you have a little Kate Winslet fun.

How tall is Kate? It is actually unknown how tall Kate is, our guess is that she is somewhere around 5'7" (1.7 meters).

Is Kate pregnant? Kate has been speculated over for months and months, now we know that she is pregnant. Officially anounced on February 25th, Kate is expecting at the end of September. Thérèse Raquin will be her next film, due to start filming in April 2001.

What is Kate's religion? Kate has been bapti"s"ed, confimed, and last year was married in her local Anglican parish. Anglican is actually the term for those belonging to the Church of England.

What is Kate's relationship to Leonardo DiCaprio All of you seem to want to know this, and there's no real answer. Kate and Leo saw each other for the first time since Titanic on October 30, 1999 at an end of shoot party for Quills. While it is the first time seeing each other since the film, Titanic, they do keep in touch by phone. And Kate has even told us that he asked her for advice on a film he was offered. They seem to be the best of friends and intend to stay that way. Leo D. is rumored to have sent a telegram to Kate regretfully informing her that he was too busy to attend her wedding on November 22, 1998.
