Golden Globes: winners and losers
January 20, 2002

The Golden Globe awards are decided annually by 90 foreign journalists who cover film and television in Los Angeles.

They are a strong indicator for the Oscars awarded in March. Unlike the Oscars, the Globes draw a distinction between drama and musical or comedy in the categories of best film, best actor and best actress.
