Movie star KATE WINSLET has denied reports she plans to marry her film-director boyfriend SAM MENDES this weekend (23/24NOV02).

Speculation is rife that the pair intend to marry at a secret location in their native Britain after informing their friends to be prepared to travel at short notice to meet them.

However, TITANIC star Winslet said as she left the London house she shares with the AMERICAN BEAUTY film-maker on Wednesday (20NOV02), "I'm not getting married this weekend."
