TITANIC star Kate Winslet and her film director boyfriend Sam Mendes have bought a £2million love nest.
Kate, 26, and Oscar winner Sam, splashed out on a five-bedroom Victorian house in swanky Belsize Park, North West London.
The four-storey property — a five-minute drive from Sam’s flat in Hampstead — has a huge back garden and an artist’s studio.
Kate, who has a 20-month-old daughter Mia, split from her film director husband Jim Threapleton, 27, last year.
She and Sam, 36, have been dating since last November and started house-hunting in Primrose Hill, close to Belsize Park.
Contracts for the new house were exchanged last week.
A spokesman for estate agents Goldschmidt & Howland said: “Kate and Sam fell in love with the house as soon as they saw it.
“It’s a fabulous property and a beautiful family home.
“I’m sure they’ll be very happy there.”
Sam, whose film debut American Beauty won eight Oscar nominations, also owns a house in Oxford and has a home in Los Angeles.
Kate, currently filming Brit flick Plunge, still owns a flat in Holloway, North London.
She and ex-hubby Jim had shared an £800,000 pump house in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. But the home was dogged by problems after continually flooding.
They also spent holidays together at their seaside home in Cornwall, which was sold for £250,000 after their split.
