The Oscar winner was set to star in a film about the Scottsman Rabbie Burns as his beloved Agnes M`Lehose, who always signed her love letters to him with "Clarinda". Director Vadim Jean now found Ms. Thompson too old and gave the part to "Titanic" star Kate Winslet, as reported by the "Daily Record".
