Screen beauty Kate Winslet missed the royal premiere of her movie after being rushed to hospital.
The actress was due at the Leicester Square gala event but fell ill yesterday morning.
She flew on Monday night from Morocco where she is working on her new movie, Hideous Kinky, and felt unwell on her arrival in London.
Yesterday the star cancelled interviews at London's Dorchester Hotel on doctor's advice.
Her spokesman Jonathan Rutter said last night: "Her illness seems to be stomach related and she was just too unfit to attend.
"She is very disapp-ointed but she had to go into hospital overnight for tests. Her new film had been organised so she could attend this royal premiere.
"Her whole family - her parents, two sisters, her brother and her grandmother - are all here tonight on her insistence. She didn't want them to miss it."
Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate's co-star, said he was very sorry she wasn't with him, and added: "I hope to see her in hospital in the morning and can only hope she has a speedy recovery."

Titanic star is sunk by a bug
November 19, 1997
Disaster struck Titanic star Kate Winslet last night, forcing her to miss the royal premiere of the film, reputedly the most expensive yet made, at the Empire Leicester Square in London.
Kate was in hospital after she was struck down by a stomach bug yesterday morning on her return from filming in Morocco.
Co-star Leonardo Di Caprio, who plays her lover, went along with his mother, Irmelin, instead.
''I am the first on the list to go to visit her in hospital,'' he said.
Sense and Sensibility star Kate is undergoing tests to discover what the bug is.

The post-party after Tuesday's royal premiere of Titanic took place at Kate Winslet's hospital bedside.
Winslet's co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Titanic director James Cameron moved directly from hosting the film's premiere for Prince Charles, who expressed concern for Winslet, to visiting the ailing actress.
Winslet was hospitalized after suffering flu-type symptoms, including fever and nausea, her spokesman says. ``She flew in from Morocco to attend the premiere and picked up something there that put her under the weather,'' says Robert Garlock. The actress was feeling much better Wednesday, he says, adding that Winslet is due at the film's Dec. 14 U.S. premiere.
